Community Spotlight

Located in Vero Beach, Florida, Schlitt Services and all of our lovely team like to be involved! Weather it is volunteering, or giving back to the community, you can always count on us to be there !

Continuing the year, we ended our second quarter for our Charity Referral Program strong! Each quarter of the year we count every referral we get, then we donate $10 to the charity of choice. As we enter the 3rd Quarter for the Boys and Girls Clubs of IRC, every referral we get up until September 30th, we donate $10 to them! The 2nd quarter charity was the United Way of IRC and Bob and Jeff Schlitt visited their office to give CEO Meredith Egan and Sydney Mihailoff their donation.

United Way of Indian River County holds an annual Citrus Golf Tournament. Every year, our team volunteers in different ways either working food and beverage stands, while others participated in the tournament!

Every month, the Treasure Coast Builders Association hosts a Builder Breakfast in each county, providing information on new building regulation laws, inviting attendees to events they are hosting such as “Construction Night Out” or “Building Better Futures”, and holding a ticket and door prize raffle!

At Schlitt, we care about our clients more than they would ever know. That why each month we invite our clients to our “Client Appreciation Lunch“. This is a fun and casual way to show our appreciation, and to let you see who is talking behind the phone taking care of your needs! Every lunch, we show a power point about the upcoming of our company, what we do, and who is the support behind it (Our amazing staff)! We chat, have a delicious lunch, and answer some questions you may have whether it be specific to your policy, or just something you’d like to know. We end each lunch with a prize raffle for our clients. Next month, come join us!

The Chamber of Commerce, the Official Welcome Center for Indian River County, holds Business at Breakfast every month. Here, the sponsors of the event give a 10-15 minute long  presentation as well as have a Q&A about their company, the Minute at the Mic gets to also inform you of their company with only 1 minute, then each person at each tables gets a chance to market themselves or their company and get to know the people around you! It is a great community event that allows you to get to know the people you pass by everyday, as well as their other events like “YPN Night”.

The 1st quarter charity was the Center for Memory and Movement and Peggy Cunningham came in to speak to Bob and Jeff Schlitt, and of course receive the donation.
